**Aviation Connection** are searching for a **Customer Service Advisor**. Working for our large and established client based in **London Gatwick Airport.** A leading global, reputable cargo and parcel distribution company, who require workers to help assist in their busy warehouse as they come into a busy peak at London Gatwick Airport.

**Salary**:£10.61 per hour

**Shift patterns** 4 on 4 off (0600-1800/1800-0600)

**Duties** of a **Customer Service Advisor**
- Receive and record, in a correct and precise manner, via systems, internal and external enquiries resulting from the services provided by the organisation
- Receive and record all internal and external calls for Gatwick Direct and Stansted Consolidation
- Ensure all enquiries are investigated, resolved and answered promptly within the Customer Service guidelines and Standing Financial instructions
- Identify customers unsatisfied lines and action in accordance with individual customer requirements
- Make decisions on and process customer requests for direct issues, special picks and emergencies, liaising with all associated departments
- Liaise with customers and manage return requests, making decisions on the timescale, value, suitability and possible reallocation of the same, within Customer Service Guidelines
- Investigate missing orders
- Advise customers of a suitable alternative on delivery against available schedules or special deliveries where necessary
- Control Datascope System
- Provide system training
- Assist with the maintenance of Datascope configuration documentation
- Deal with and resolve customer complaints relating to products unfit for purpose and/or within warranty periods, liaising with all associated departments and organisations
- Act as a point of contact between internal departments and customers, ensuring information is disseminated to both
- Update and manage the customer profiles on the call management system (CSS)

**Requirements to become a Customer Service Advisor**:

- Excellent telephone manner
- Be able to obtain a clean DBS/CRC Check
- Sound knowledge of using IT systems
- Fluent English
- Workload planning skills
- Strong administration skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
