Education Assistant / IT Support Administrator - Term time & hybrid working model

An interesting opportunity has arisen to work within a local organisation and support the team in this IT administration/support role. The main purpose of the role will be to lead and provide IT technical support and advice across all of the internal systems, whilst working closely with the Manager providing operational and administrative support.

This is a great opportunity to take on a diverse and multifaceted role within the organisation.

Some Key Duties to include:

- Provide competent IT ‘first aid’ support to colleagues
- Provide necessary IT training for colleagues across all the systems and support colleagues to streamline administration processes utilising software packages
- Be a recognised ‘front end’ administrator and be the lead trainer for inducting new staff in all the relevant IT systems and software
- Provide administrative support including updating software; booking course venues; marketing administration; necessary paperwork for courses
- Regularly update social media platforms and have involvement with decision making for marketing and communication strategies
- Support the day-to-day business operations within the organisation, participate in meetings, liaise with stakeholders and support the Advisers

Key Skills/Experience:
The post holder will be expected to have substantial organisational experience and / or qualifications, with a very good general standard of education and experience in dealing with people and IT. Experience of working with, and supporting a range of staff.

High-level IT competency is essential and ideally educated with a relevant IT qualification
Administration and support skills essential
Ability to prioritise and deliver workload with efficient, effective organisation, demonstrating attention to detail
Ability to use initiative and work collaboratively

Teams and Sharepoint

Other information:
Salary c28k pro rata
35 hours per week (39 weeks per year) - term time only
