HR Assistant

**Salary**:£11.65 -£12 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)
**Location**:Witney **with travel across Guideposts sites (some homework might be required as per manager request)**
**Hours**:20-35 hours per week across 5 days
Guideposts exist to provide services to meet individual needs so that each person has the opportunity to fulfil their aspirations and maximise their potential. We seek to achieve excellence in our work and lead the way in researching, delivering, and disseminating good practice.
**You will**:
- Work with the HR Manager supporting HR administrative processes such as training, recruitment, probation, onboarding and induction of staff and volunteers.
- Support hiring managers on recruitment
- Book and record all training and keep the training matrix up to date.
- Support with the implementation of apprenticeship and work training opportunities within Guideposts services for staff, volunteers, and service users.
- Update records on HRIS (BrightHR)
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provide support to managers with regard to all HR admin.
- Ensure that Induction training is carried out and monitor and audit the process on a regular basis to ensure appropriate records kept.
- Work with the HR manager to monitor and implement a training and appraisal process.
- Work in partnership with the HR Manager and managers on performance management and staff development.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Recruitment**
- Provide end-to-end support on all recruitment within the organisation working with the HR Manager to search CV databases, advertise roles, shortlist CV’s and set up interviews and prepare interview packs.
- Creating offer packs for new starters
- Creating induction packs for new starters, liaising with Line Managers, and providing support where needed
- Security screening for all new employees into the business including processing DBS Checks, ID Cards, right to work checks and verification of employment history.
- Processing leavers
**Training**
- Maintain training records and provide training reports when requested.
- Book training courses for new and existing staff
- Identify training gaps and any training due to expire.
- Research and source external training providers
- Maintain training matrix.
**Other duties**
- Administer staff absences in line with absence policy.
- Ensure GDPR processes are adhered to across the organisation.
- Co-ordinate all training administration
- Keep a tag of staff anniversaries and send cards.
- Any other admin duties as may be required by your manager.
**In return you will receive**:
