Social Research Field Interviewer

Bristol, United Kingdom Appcastenterprise Full time

**Social Research Field Interviewer**

**£12.10 per hour, £500 joiner bonus, plus travel expenses**

**Field based**

Have you ever wondered where stats like ‘36% of Britons think the government should reduce income tax’ come from?

The results of your research will support shaping governmental and corporate policies across the UK.

In most cases the recipients will receive a letter, so they should know you’re coming. You’ll still need to knock on doors and call people to arrange interviews.

You won’t need any experience, because you’ll get all the training you need. You’ll need to be confident knocking on somebody’s door and building rapport, sometimes in the pouring rain. You’ll also need to be comfortable with technology, as you’ll use atablet and laptop to record data.

This is a flexible role so you’ll have some control over when you work, although we ask you to commit to at least 12 hours a week. Beyond this you can work as many hours as you like when the work is available.

Initially you’ll be paid by the hour (**£12.10 per hour**) but once you’re up and running you’ll be paid by results. You’ll likely earn more this way, where you’re being paid for every interview you complete along with other bonuses and incentives.

You’ll be assigned to a large area, you could have to travel anywhere from 3 to 33 miles to reach certain postcodes, sometimes further. In most cases you’ll need access to a car or another vehicle. If you’re in London or Central Manchester or Birmingham, there’s other ways to get around.

We’re recruiting across most areas in the UK.

**Essential Skills**:

- Ability to travel within your region
- Willingness to knock on doors
- Comfortable with technology

**About Company**:
.If you like what you’ve seen, take a look at what you’ll get below:

- **£12.10 per hour**:

- £500 new joiner bonus (after you complete your second assignment.)
- 1% holiday pay (equivalent to 20 days per year if full time)
- Travel expenses paid
- Eligible for pension scheme

You’ll be invited to a Teams interview within a few days.
