**Programme Lead**
- Contract: Three Month
- Inside IR35
- Hybrid Role

**Role Purpose**
- Working in collaboration with Heads of Technology this role will lead the orchestration of the Technology Portfolio development and delivery of our major strategic projects and programmes to enable the successful realisation of the client’s Business Strategy.
- These programmes will realise strategic benefits and as such include projects which are highly complex in nature across many technologies, business processes, regulatory implications and will be involved across a range of internal Heathrow departments and external stakeholders to transform customer and colleagues experience.
- This encompasses Technology leadership through the full Portfolio to project lifecycle, working closely with Senior Business colleagues, sponsors, and our airline community to co-create future capabilities through innovation and technology that will enable a step change in ways of working.

**Principal**
**Accountabilities**
- Lead the Development and Delivery of Technology Portfolio’s, Roadmaps and investment plans aligned to business strategies through structured portfolios/programme
- Enable the Business sponsors to maximise the benefits of the investment through business productivity, efficiency, service, commercial growth balanced with the total cost of ownership through the design and delivery process
- Lead Programme/project delivery through full gateway lifecycle utilising appropriate delivery methodologies whilst focussing on delivering ‘speed to value’ of benefits for our customers. seamlessly transitioning into Operation, working closely with Senior Business executives as a trusted advisor
- Establish simple governance structures to engage business sponsors and key stakeholders through the design and delivery process, ensuring adherence to company’s Gateway lifecycle process
- Lead the cross-technology review of projects to ensure delivery to time, cost and quality and ensure the defined benefits are delivered
- Provide cross technology controls to manage Risk, Resource and Stakeholders to ensure consistency of processes
- Lead delivery teams through collaborative relationships with Supplier partners
- Ensure compliance with policies, processes, standards, design and architecture policies/governance, regulatory governance compliance and appropriate quality strategies
- Maintain a clear awareness of the art of the possible through innovation and technology that will transform ways of working
- Establish, evolve, and run an effective programme delivery governance structure that drives empowerment, supports decision making and creates agility.
- Guardianship of the Technology Programme Sponsoring Group (TPSG - Internal) and the Technology Programme Working Group (TPWG - External/Airline facing)
- Develop, own, and continuously evolve
- Delivery strategies and associated policies

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and coach a high performing team (inclusive of supplier partners)
- Expert in all components of Portfolio, Programme, Project Management and Requirements Engineering
- Expert in business case development, commercial and supplier management, relationship management, Technology governance formulation and new technology evaluation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
- Should be a challenging coach and possess ability to influence and build strengthened relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in development, delivery, and leadership of complex IT programmes
- Knowledge and experience of delivering transformation change into a complex operational environment
- Experience of delivering Transformation change through external supplier teams (i.e., intelligent client function rather than in-house delivery) highly desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
