Yeovil, United Kingdom Screwfix Full time

**Overview**

It’s a great time to join Screwfix. Thanks to the hard work of our team and record-breaking sales, we’re proud to be one of the fastest-growing retailers in the UK. And we want to pass that growth onto you. Whether you’re in procurement, digital, marketing or finance, there’s a role here for you.

You are at the forefront of the product content set-up, collection, and maintenance within the international team. Collaborating with teams across the business and constantly looking for improved ways of working to guarantee best in class product content, as we expand our customer base and presence in the various markets

We believe that a hybrid, flexible working approach offers you - and your colleagues - the best of both worlds. Face-to-face collaboration is an integral part of our warm, friendly culture, so you’ll work from our head office three days a week, working flexibly around our core working hours of 10am-3pm. Beyond that, how, when and where you work is up to you. With a subsidised canteen, free parking and a comfortable, relaxed environment, we’ve worked hard to build an office you’ll want to work in. We also know that, when it comes to school pick-ups and home deliveries, it’s nice to have the flexibility to do both.

**Key responsibilities**
- Create all new SKUs from completed range review documents called consol sheets, from set-up, pre-Sale through to Live, in line with Screwfix deadlines
- Ensure that data is fully accurate, complete, consistent, and validated, and conform to the agreed business standards, prior to loading them into the PIM
- Proactively liaise with internal departments to identify and resolve problems arising from product data
- Proactively liaise with our third parties, as required; our vendors for data collection and our nominated translation agency to ensure the product data is translated into the relevant languages, and any updates made to the product data fed back to the agency accordingly
- Work towards enriching the already live products, to maximise web traffic and sales
- Co-own the various initiatives within the Content team and alongside the Web team
- Create, manipulate, and enhance Excel based product data extracts from the PIM
- Identify improvement areas and recommend process changes to improve data flow, accuracy, and efficiency, working towards implementing them across relevant teams
- Support other team members in dealing with escalated issues and problems
- Think ‘outside the box,’ challenging the norm when looking at solving problems.
- Escalate any issues with vendors or internal departments meeting deadlines with the Product Creation Team Leader
- Attend internal meetings, providing support to the creation process as required
- Update trackers, monitor and review with key stakeholders on a regular basis

**Required skills & experience**

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Experience of working within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, ideally within a co-ordination role
- Methodical and well organised approach - strong skills in planning, organising and self-managing workload
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to successfully manage many internal and external relationships
- Able to be accurate, with attention to detail to challenge and spot errors in substantial amounts of data
- Previous commercial experience ideal, preferably in a retail environment
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly the ability to format information clearly in excel
- An understanding of DIY/Trade products would be advantageous.
