London, United Kingdom South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust Full time

We are a large very well established service with an experienced multidisciplinary team of clinicians. The post holder would be working as part of the small multidisciplinary team in the Day Unit (3 days) and for the other 2 days would be working across the whole pathway on the service-related data and audit collection, analysis and report-writing.

Psychology is well regarded within the service and you will be supervised by a qualified CBT therapist / clinical psychologist and receive line management from the Day unit team manager. There is a lot of day to day contact with colleagues and opportunity for some joint working with other professionals in the team and monthly in house CPD meetings.

The Eating Disorders Service offers a specialist mental health service to people aged 18 years and older with a range of moderate - severe eating disorders. The service comprises a specialist inpatient ward which is a national service and a day unit and outpatient service that both offer a service to the population of Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth, Kingston and Richmond.

We are seeking a graduate in psychology to work in our friendly service who is enthusiastic and passionate about working with a range of clients (some of whom are difficult to engage) and is organised and proficient in the use of computer software to maintain a large database and contribute to written reports and presentations to both colleagues and senior managers. Ideally the post holder will have experience of working within a specialist eating disorders service.

For 3 days per week, the postholder will work as a member of the Day Unit Team, including allocation of specific clients for low intensity psychologically informed interventions as delegated, under the supervision and guidance of a qualified professional psychologist/CBT therapist. Participation in core team duties will include therapeutic eating with patients on the Day Unit, meal preparation and providing supportive individual key work sessions. The postholder will also support the delivery of psychologically-informed group treatment alongside a qualified clinician.

For the other 2 days per week, the role will be to assist in clinically related administration, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. In particular, to administer, collect and score psychometrics for service outcome measures, enter the data and maintain the database, analyse data and write up appropriate reports.

**Career Progression pathways and development opportunities**:
