Job Title: FedBucks Receptionist OOH & Wyc UTC

**Hours: Evenings, Overnights, Weekends and Bank holidays**

**Location: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Wycombe Hospital plus other bases (Buckingham/Amersham/Stoke Poges)**

**Weekend £10.50 per hour**

**Reporting to: UCS Service Manager**

**Job Summary**

This post requires efficient and accurate keyboard skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask whilst working in a busy fast-paced environment undertaking a variety of tasks on the reception team.

**Responsibilities**

You will be required to provide a variety of clerical tasks including booking in patients on arrival using computerised patient administration systems.

You will act as a focal point of communication between patients, and medical/clinical and operational staff.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Educated to GCSE Grade C and above in Maths and English

**Statutory registration**

Not Applicable

**Special skills and knowledge**

Good level of IT skills especially in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally knowledge of Adastra, Emis, Medway and telecoms

**Experience**

Previous experience in a reception or customer care environment is desirable

**Personal attributes**

Ability to record information accurately

Good Administration skills

Able to work individually as well as part of a team

Flexible approach

Good communication skills/interpersonal skills and a pleasant professional and helpful manner with a positive attitude to patient care

Excellent organisational skills

Ability to remain calm when faced with conflicting priorities

**Salary**: £10.00-£10.50 per hour
