**Overview**
- The role is responsible for all aspects on payments being made to both clients and participants for Share Plans, maintenance, and general administration work for the clients’ records. This role will be responsible for all technical processes and needs to conform to all regulatory obligations including but not limited to the CASS rules applicable to the functions.**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Operational Management
- Research and respond to incoming client or participant enquiries ensuring that complex issues are explained fully, using the appropriate written style in line with the client’s branding.
- Ensure administration is processed to internal and external service standards
- Ensure that all work is completed in line with Link’s “Treating Customers Fairly” policy at all times.
- Flexibility around busy periods and business demands
- Takes responsibility for ongoing knowledge and Mandatory Training requirements
- Ensure that all complaints received are dealt with in accordance with the defined procedures
- Ensure that any incidents or breaches are reported in accordance with procedures
- Investigate and resolve any reconciliation issues, liaising with and reporting any issues to the Manager
- Check ad hoc documents as required. (Cheques, Chaps etc.)
- Assist the manager with planning, monitoring, and co-ordinating workloads to ensure appropriate resources/skills within the team are utilised to maintain performance standards
- Ensure that work is carried out within agreed procedures and time frames so as to meet Link Group standards and those recognised at industry level
- Assist and deal with any ad-hoc duties within the department
- Drive the reduction in backlogs across department and assist in the introduction of new processes to prevent future backlogs better efficiency.
- People Leadership
- Feedback to Supervisor where standards may be compromised
- Develop and maintain working relationships with other departments enabling completion of tasks and queries.
- Governance & Risk
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external procedures and FCA regulations including the CASS rules.
- Ensure functions are performed within the framework of the CASS rules.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent
- Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge in Excel, Word & Outlook
