Our client based in Lye requires full time Foundry Operatives for an immediate start. Long term opportunities and the role offers the possibility of a permanent position following a successful trial period. Overtime available.

**Responsibilities of the Foundry Operative**:

- Control the furnaces that melt metal.
- Put together wax patterns used in castings.
- Transfer molten metal from the furnace to moulds.
- Operate die casting machines.
- Grind surplus metal off castings with abrasive wheels.
- Use shot blasting machinery to clean castings.

**Requirements of the Foundry Operative**:

- Reliability and dependability.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Self-motivated.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.

**Pay rate & Hours**:

- £12.00 per hour.
- Overtime rates £16.00 per hour after 38 hours, £18.00 per hour after 50 hours, £24.00 per hour on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
- £1.00 per hour shift bonus for nights.
- Monday to Friday.
- 05:00am-13:00pm day shift.
- 17:00pm-01:00am night shift.
- Weekend overtime available.
