A great new role as a Business Development Adviser has come onto the market with a leading global law firm who need an outstanding BD specialist to support the firm's Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects Group.

Forming part of the firm's global Corporate & Finance Practice Group, IERP covers all transactional aspects of a project's lifespan including greenfield development, PPPs, M&A, financing, secondary market transactions, refinancing, restructuring, distressedassets and funds. You will be working with a well-established Marketing & BD team, which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, client relationship management and reputational activities. The firm requires a capable and enthusiastic Adviserto support the IERP practice and wider Marketing & BD Corporate & Finance team. The successful applicant will play a really important role supporting a forward thinking practice area who are involved in some of the world’s largest and most exciting globalprojects, with the opportunity to work with partners to help develop and implement their Marketing & BD plans, and also be responsible for the day to day activities of the practice. The Business Development Adviser will enjoy a broad role encompassing thefull range of business development and marketing activities including client targeting and cross-selling; pitching; credentials and other marketing collateral; client, sector and competitor analysis; profile raising and marketing campaigns including communicationssuch as directory submissions, deal reporting, online content and BD evaluation and reporting.

Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record or equivalent allied to proven marketing and business development experience gained in a leading law or professional services firm. Prior knowledge and experience of Energy and Infrastructureand Project Finance would be helpful but it is by no means essential for the role of Business Development Adviser.
