Do you have a NEBOSH General Certificate?

My client, based in Sevenoaks, are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible person to help support the Quality Manager to deliver a robust HSE culture throughout the business maintaining ISO 45001 compliance in addition to providing specialist Health and Safety advice to departmental managers, safety representatives and staff at all UK and European sites.

Our client cover a variety of office facilities and light manufacturing plants, you will need to have a good grounding in Health and Safety combined with a proactive approach to your role as everyday will offer a different challenge. Experience gained within the Manufacturing or Engineering sectors would be beneficial but is not essential. A NEBOSH general certificate with Technical or QHSE qualification at NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Safety is required as is three years of working in a similar field.

Additional skills required will include:

- Completion and revision of operational risk assessments and method statements
- Knowledge of auditing within industry
- Contractor engagement and management
- Excellent Communication and Stake Holder management

This is a great opportunity to join an established business with expansion plans.

Based from the Sevenoaks office, standard hours are 37 per week, Mon-Thur 07.30-15.30 and Fri 07.30-15.00, but some travel to other UK facilities will be required. Our client offer hybrid working, with a standard split of 4 days in the office 1 day at home.
