**Job Description**:
As a Full-Time Receptionist at McKays Hotel, you will play a crucial role in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Guest Services:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in process.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
2. Check-in and Check-out:
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out procedures with attention to detail.
- Process reservations, ensuring accuracy in guest information and room allocations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping to coordinate room availability and ensure a smooth guest experience.
3. Telephone and Front Desk Operations:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with general inquiries and provide information to callers.
- Handle mail and messages for guests and hotel staff.
4. Reservation Management:
- Manage room reservations and cancellations.
- Work closely with the sales and revenue team to optimise room occupancy.
- Keep abreast of room availability, rates, and promotions.
5. Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve guest issues and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
6. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest records.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is desirable.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
6. Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
