**Introduction**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced administrative assistant to join a successful energy company based in North Liverpool. We are an expanding, fast-paced, dynamic company with a big presence in our market. We have a family company feel and value our people.

You will be assisting the billing team in producing monthly bills, analysing meter data and associated duties.

**About You**

You are confident, self-motivated, willing to learn and have a desire to succeed. As the role involves contacting our customers you will have good communication skills, be calm and professional, tenacious with a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-changing environment.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and have excellent attention to detail; you will also be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

**Responsibilities and duties will include**
- Accessing meter reading systems and downloading data
- Preparing and running bill runs
- Analysis of meter readings and consumption
- Contact customers to arrange engineer visits
- Any other ad-hoc duties as identified
- Numerate and articulate with excellent communication skills
- Brilliant telephone manner and superb ability to build customer relationships
- Time management, able to prioritise workload and works well under pressure
- Ability to work from own initiative with an outstanding attention to detail
- Team player - collaborating to provide excellent service
- Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills

**Education & Qualifications**
- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English

**Desirable Experience**
- Customer facing or customer services role
- Working with domestic and business customers
- Utility or billing
- Previous use of Sage

**Salary and benefits**
