We are expanding our team and have an incredible opportunity for L3 CYP qualified Team Leaders at our home. We welcome you to be a part of our developing team and contribute to making a difference to a young person's life every day.

**Mandatory Requirements**

1. L3 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification

2. Valid DBS

3. Relevant experience working in a children's home

4. Full UK Driving License (preferred)

**Roles and Responsibilities**

You will work on a 2 on 3 off rota, assisting with managerial tasks and leading the shift to support the young people that we look after.

You will work closely with the deputy and registered manager of the home, leading teams of support workers to direct shift planning and key worker sessions; ensuring our young people are appropriately safeguarded, and their wishes and feelings are heard and followed.

1. Ensure reporting and recording are carried out to a high standard on every shift. Knowledge of using ClearCare is preferable.

2. Participate in contributing to risk assessments, behaviour support plans and care planning documentation for the young people we look after

3. Carry out supervisions for co-workers and support workers within your team

4. Be receptive to feedback to develop into a future manager and leader

5. This role can be both physically/emotionally demanding, and you must have the confidence/patience to adapt to the challenging behaviours that young people can present with.

6. Your role will be responsible for supporting our young people in the home day to day alongside our team to ensure they can reach their full potential and life goals with a helping hand.

- Keyworkers/non-contact planning
- Ensuring weekly summaries are complete
- Children's meetings / questionnaires
- Recording of children’s finance
- Ensure the rota is appropriately covered and find cover when appropriate within your sub team
- Weekly Activities Planner
- Ensuring medication is administered and recorded daily
- Weekly medication audits
- Ensure the daily monitoring/checks of the home are complete and signed for daily.
- Ensure the home is clean and tidy and in good state of repair - updating the maintenance log
- Liaison with education provisions
- Menu planner
- **Team leaders will train Support workers on all points above.**
