**Job Overview**:
We are currently seeking a **Communications & Projects Assistant** to join our vibrant team at InExeter, Exeter’s business improvement district. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the implementation of projects and communication strategies to enhance our city and support local businesses.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Project Support:

- Assist in the coordination and implementation of various projects under strategic themes of our Business Plan.
- Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and proposing solutions to address issues as they arise.

Communication Assistance:

- Support the Marketing & Communications Manager in executing communication strategies to promote InExeter’s initiatives and events.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, including newsletters, press releases, and social media content.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with followers to enhance community interaction.
- Help maintain the organisation's website by updating content and ensuring accuracy.

Administrative Support:

- Assist in organising events and meetings, including logistics coordination and attendee management.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to projects, communications, and stakeholder contacts.

Office Management:

- Assist in managing office-related tasks such as answering phones, handling incoming mail, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities.

**Requirements**:
Key Skills:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Knowlege & Experience:

- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business Administration) is preferred.
- Experience in project coordination or administrative support roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
