**_ABOUT THE ROLE:_**

The company is keen to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer or IT Service Desk Engineer to help with delivering exceptional customer service and provide relevant IT support for their clients, both remotely and onsite.

**As a 2nd Line Support Engineer**:

- You will support customers and colleagues by troubleshooting 2nd line support enquiries
- You can work remotely from home, but also be given the opportunity to visit some customers to fix issues on-site
- You will achieve continuous improvement by staying up to date with the IT market, trying out new technologies, and completing relevant certifications (which will be paid for by the company)

**_WHAT YOU WILL GET IN RETURN:_**

**Salary**:You will receive a salary between £25,000 - £30,000 pa depending on experience, plus bonuses (usually about £200 per month on top)

**Flexibility/WFH**:You can work fully remotely from home anywhere in the UK (the South of the UK would be preferable - Dorset/Hampshire), giving you that all-important work-life balance where you can spend more time on what is important toyou and less time travelling to the office in Christchurch. (Please note that a couple of weeks of initial training will be held at the company’s office in Christchurch.) Working hours rotate between 8:00am to 5:00pm and 9:00am to 6:00pm each week.

**Personal Development/Career Prospects**: You will be given the opportunity to progress in your career through personal development plans and company-funded, industry related training courses relevant to IT - these could be Microsoft certifiedcourses, or networking, or whatever interests you and would be beneficial to your role/career.

**_THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:_**
- Have at least 1 year of experience providing 2nd line support on an IT service desk
- Ideally have some experience working within the managed services industry (advantageous)
- Have a full driving license and a vehicle and be able to attend customer sites from time to time
- Enjoy helping customers and have a very good telephone manner and written skills
- Be able to attend the company’s office in Christchurch, Dorset for initial training for 1-2 weeks
- Have experience in supporting some or all of the following technologies:

- Windows Server 2012-2019
- SolarWinds N-Able, TeamViewer or MSP Connect
- Microsoft 365 and Azure (on premise and cloud based)
- Networking
- Active Directory
- Virtualisation
- IIS
- Operating Systems
