Regional Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Regional Marketing Manager (EMEA) to join our team at Oxford Nanopore Technologies to drive the regional marketing strategy and supervising the overall performance of the marketing activities in the EMEA region in line with the company'sglobal strategic priorities to generate growth.
In this role you work closely with the global distributed team while being deeply integrated into the regional needs and in close alignment with the central marketing teams.
This role will give the opportunity to work with both the broader marketing team, and the EMEA Region commercial teams to represent the regional perspective in global marketing operations projects, ensuring that the technology and analytics delivered meet businessneeds. Strong and active engagement and collaboration with key partners is essential, in and outside of the EMEA commercial organization
The Details of the role This role will support and implement marketing and sales focused strategies. This includes identifying regional business growth needs and developing the marketing plan and strategy with key global and regional partners to contributeto pipeline and revenue.
Working with the global team to prioritise and establish marketing support across the region, reporting on marketing performance, and making data-centric action plans to increase pipeline and revenue in EMEA.
Responsibilities: - Lead regional marketing team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans focusing on growing sales and increasing profitability aligned to the company's strategic priorities.
- Use regional market knowledge and customer insights, implement measurable integrated global campaigns in the region, including demand generation programs and events that drive demand across the customer journey.
- Understand the regional market trends, with regional commercial leaders to identify short
- and longer-term opportunities for our technology and products to support the region's growth.
- Pilot, incubate, iterate profitable local programmes/initiatives, and complete global marketing commercial marketing programmes in the region.
- Follow the central marketing guideline, ensure the company's core value, brand, ethos and tone of the voice are applied and consistent.
- Support Marketing Operation team to formulate and monitor budget allocated for marketing plan execution.
- Work with the central marketing team, provide local competitor information with a set of sales tools which help regional sales teams to position and sell the company's product portfolio.
- Support the delivery of marketing materials/collaterals (digital and print; English and/or translated) as appropriate in the region.
- Support sales by attending customers meetings and presentations as appropriate.
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities, including expectation management on multiple projects.
- Any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post.
What We're Looking For...
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing, demonstrable experience in development of strategic and execution of strategic marketing plans with experience in working with distributors, dealers and channel partners.
- Experience working with marketing automation platforms/SFDC.
- Working in a global and matrixed environment.
- Solid understanding of the EMEA life science /sequencing market.
- Excellent organization and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work efficiently with external agencies and internal team members, with an eye for details.
- Strong project management skills and a passion for driving activities to a high-reaching timescale.
- A detailed, focused, and analytical approach to problem solving.
