**Sales Representative - Automotive Aftermarket**

An opportunity for an experienced **Sales Representative** has arisen within a Global manufacturer of **automotive components**, serving passenger car, light commercial, truck and bus sectors.

This role will develop and grow **aftermarket** accounts across **Europe, particularly Eastern Europe**and **will involve travel**.

**Salary €50,000 Basic + Performance related bonus + Car**
- This role will be office based when not travelling to visit customers, office commutable from_**:

- Utrecht, Ziest, Amersfoort, Nieuwegin, Woerden, Gouda, Hilversum, Nijkerk, Ede, Alphen aan den Rijn, Rotterdam, Leiden, Dordrecht, Gorinchem,Amsterdam, Huizen, Almere, Hoofddorp**

**_Role specifics:_**
- Manage accounts to maintain **budget** and **profit targets** for the European region, assist in developing **commercial plans** to retain and grow existing accounts.
- Build meaningful **relationships**with customers through understanding their need and identifying ways to enhance their business through our client's product ranges.
- Identify **new business opportunities**.
- Undertake travel to both new and existing customers, trade fairs and industry events.
- Provide **sales forecasts** and contribute to demand plans.
- Work with the Sales Manager, Product, Purchasing and Marketing teams to support new products and promotional activities.
- Conduct regular **market analysis** utilising internal and external data sources.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Customer Services to ensure your customers are receiving the highest standard of customer service.
- Develop and deliver **promotional activities** such as **presentations** and **customer visits** to new and existing customers.
- Keep abreast of industry insights in particular **competitor activity**.

**_Personal characteristics:_**
- A combination of **new business** and **account management** experience is required for this position.
- The ability to negotiate, analyse, prioritise and multi-task in a fast-moving industry is essential for this role.
- You should be a **relationship builder** with success in developing long-lasting meaningful customer partnerships.
- Essential to this role is a **business fluency in English**, with other European languages advantageous.
- The ability and willingness to travel around Europe.
