**THE ROLE**
I am delighted to be partnering one of the region’s leading and quickly growing personal finance advisors in the search for a IT Service Desk Analyst.
**Salary: ** £25,000 based on experience
**Location**: Boldon, Tyne & Wear
**Flexible / Hybrid working**:No this role require you to be in site.
**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30-17:00 or 09:00-17:30
**Holidays: **25 days plus bank holidays
**DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Working within SLA guidelines your main responsibilities will be based around:

- Providing quality 1st & 2nd line IT support to the company users in a Microsoft 365 orientated environment.
- Act as a point of escalation and demonstrate an ability to mentor and lead by example for junior team members.
- Accurate recording of issues and resolutions in the internal Helpdesk System.
- Accurate recording of hardware in our Asset Management System.
- Provide guidance to users on technical knowledge.
- Suggesting technical and process improvement to colleagues and managers.
- Take responsibility and ownership of incidents and requests and escalating where required to senior colleagues or 3rd party partners.
- Some occasional (3-4 time a year) travel to site across the UK

**YOUR SKILLS**
Ideally you will have 18 - 24 months experience working in a similar role.
To be suitable for the role you will:

- Good knowledge of the full Microsoft 365 product suite.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and devices.
- Relevant experience troubleshooting Windows 10 devices.
- Experience of troubleshooting peripheral IT equipment such as printers.
- Certifications in Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or CompTIA A+
- Active Directory administration and user creation experience.
- Have a great customer service skills and an ability to liaise with customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Have an ability to prioritise work and accurately triage support calls.
- Be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and within tight time constraints.
- Have an aptitude for problem solving.
- Be a self-starter with a can do attitude.
