Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting a Desktop Technician commutable to Central London on an ad-hoc basis.
**Contract Duration: 1 day per week every 1-2 weeks**
**Rate information**:

- £160.00 per day via umbrella (inside IR35)
- 9.00am - 17.00pm
- 1 day per week every 1-2 weeks from March 2023 - June 2023

**The Role**:

- Prepare, install and configure computer hardware (laptops and desktops) operating systems for customer
- Deliver computer or other hardware to customer - and assist at first-time login
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Assist network-team on tasks regarding network (troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware faults)
- Supporting end users both face to face and remotely
- Follow script based guidance to repair a fault or set up system
- Repair/ replace parts where necessary
- support refresh of hardware
- see tasks through to completion
- Prioritise and manage open cases on Remedy
- Provide good quality customer service at all times and establish good working relationships
- Excellent skills in user IT infrastructure - Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds, Smartphone etc
- Ability to interact with customers so as to ensure that the service is polite, efficient and responsive
- Ability to work on their own initiative
- To work through issues analytically and successfully
- At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
- Prior experience on Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and local language)
- Background security check required - must be able to complete successfully
