Reporting to the Marketing Director the Social Media Specialist is an important member of the CVP Marketing team, primarily focussing on developing social media strategy, producing and publishing content, analysing usage data, managing projects and supporting campaigns.

In this ‘hands on’ role, you will work with the Marketing team to deliver messaging, build community engagement and have a responsibility for maintaining CVP brand standards.

This is a full-time role which is ideally suited to a friendly, courteous, positive, driven and organised individual who will enjoy being a part of a thriving and buzzing environment in a progressive company which is consistently experiencing growth.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day handling of all CVP social media channels and community engagement across key platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter - adapting content to suit different channels
- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
- Develop, launch and manage competitions and campaigns that promote our organisation and brand
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools
- Collaborate with the wider CVP teams to generate ideas and campaign solutions and actively participate in weekly marketing meetings
- Work closely with and support the creative and technical team
- Grow existing channels as well as build channels from the ground up
- Appropriate tagging of associated brands / accounts
- Proactively assess the channels to ensure missing elements/requests are dealt with
- Research and evaluate the latest trends, techniques, changes, developments and new platforms
- Ensure all activity (use of images, copy, tone of voice etc) are consistent, accurate and follows brand guidelines for CVP and its partners
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using relevant tools.
- Meet targets to increase brand awareness, conversion and increased customer engagement
- Engage in third party forums and online industry communities

**Skills Required**:

- A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to B2B and Prosumers eg Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin Twitter, social media listening tools
- Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful post to using effective storytelling techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
- Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
- Excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills
- Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
- Project and campaign management skills
- The ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
- Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics
- An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
- Be responsive
- Be a highly motivated self-starter with an enquiring mind
- Have a desire to learn and grow as an individual
- Have an interest in Media and Entertainment Technology
- Be organised
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, Teams, Adobe photoshop

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
