**Practice Bookkeeper and Client Administrator - part-time**

A friendly and professional local firm of Chartered Accountants with a diverse portfolio of clients in different sectors is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Client Administrator with responsibility for day-to-day aspects of bookkeeping and client administration, including tasks related to new clients. We are essentially looking for a friendly, outgoing, people person who will attract new clients and retain existing clients with the provision of excellent service.

**The role requires a minimum of 2 years continuous experience as a Bookkeeper or in Accountancy roles or similar, preferably within an Accountancy Practice or similar.**

**AAT or similar professional qualification with experience is considered an added advantage for the role.**

Prior knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software and QuickBooks online is essential whilst a working knowledge of Xero, VT transaction plus and Payroll Manager Software is an added advantage.

This role includes practice client administration and the preparation of sole trader, partnership & basic limited company accounts, bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns, preparation of basic personal tax returns, preparation of client payrolls/CIS and related administration, as required and you will need:

- Great attention to detail to deliver accurate work within a set time schedule
- Methodical approach to work with mínimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills to form positive working relationships with clients and other practice staff members
- To be a confident and competent user of IT
- To be able to work with all types and sizes of businesses
- To take part in the general duties of a small office

Hours: 12 to start

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: From £16.00 per hour

**Experience**:
