**Co-ordinator - Lived Experience Advisory Group**

37 Hours Per Week-Contract for 12 months initially
Hybrid Role Working across Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

**Salary**

**£26,952.09**

**Objectives of the Post**:

- Establishment of a Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) designed to inform the Local Partnership Board decision making and the local Domestic Abuse Strategy across both

Herefordshire and Worcestershire
- Creation of a Lived Experience Engagement Strategy and evaluation report that ensures adherence to statutory requirements set out in the Act, underpinned by research and consultation with victim-survivors to identify best practice from their experience, and areas of improvement
- Delivery of key projects and work as identified by members of the LEAG
- The creation of a Lived Experience Engagement Framework for local service providers.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse issues and the needs of those affected by it
- Knowledge and understanding of local authority safeguarding responsibilities and processes as they pertain to those affected by domestic abuse
- Working knowledge of disability, mental health and drug and alcohol issues,
- Knowledge of and commitment to Women’s Aid aims and principles
- Experience of partnership working in a pressured public sector environment.
- Experience of the successful development and delivery of projects that require client participation in their co-production.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the preparation and delivery of formal reports
- Excellent presentation skills, including the use of Powerpoint and multi-media resources
- Significant skills in securing the engagement of service users and key stakeholders in the co
- production of development projects.
- Ability to design evaluation tools, including the identification of relevant measures as indicators
- Ability to work co-operatively with practitioners and decision-makers, singly and in interagency contexts
- Ability to organise workload and respond to unplanned demands
- Ability to work individually and to self-manage both time and competing priorities effectively
- Ability to work as part of a wider multi-agency community in a co-ordinating and leading capacity
