A P/T Hub Supervisor is required to co-ordinate and manage day-to-day activities of Hike & Bike Hub. Expected working hours for the Hub Supervisor will be Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. **This is a fixed term role for 10 months**, funded by Paths for All.

**Purpose of role**:
Hike & Bike Hub Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Specific responsibilities _
- Be first point of contact, carry out retail operations and meet customer needs including helping customers to choose the correct bike and accessories
- Work closely with volunteer team to plan activities and resources required
- Ensure Hub premises are clean, presentable and welcoming to customers
- Cash handling and point of sale operation
- General responsibilities_
- To promote the work of Hike & Bike Hub when working in the local community
- To engage with members of the public in a positive and constructive way and ensure their needs are met
- To provide excellent customer service
- To communicate effectively with the team
- To work with team members to achieve goals
- To work constructively with project partners
- To report on the success of allocated tasks
- To comply fully with the organisation ethos, policies and procedures and relevant legislation
- To attend team meetings as required
- To undertake other duties in line with the job purpose

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: £18,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

- TD11BJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
