Electrical Supervisor Opportunity

CJC Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our client's Building Engineering Services team on a permanent basis at their Galashiels site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work schedules for the electrical staff to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to electrical staff to enhance their performance and job satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical work to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to interpret design schematics and ensure accurate installation of electrical systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot major system failures and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Maintain and repair electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and extend its lifespan.
  • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure timely delivery and minimize costs.
  • Ensure all electrical work is completed on schedule and to the required standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment to promote employee well-being and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with builders, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation to and from the site.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Proven experience in a similar electrical supervisory role.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications.
