Housing Officer

We are looking for an experienced and capable Housing Officer to fill a part-time role within our Housing Services Team based in Herefordshire, where you will work five mornings per week. This is a fast-paced challenging role, and we are looking for a talented and resilient person with a passion for housing management.

As a minimum, you will need to demonstrate:
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Experience of working in the Social Housing Sector.
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant law and practice.
- Experience of using a wide variety of tools to resolve anti-social behaviour, including relevant partner agencies.
- Experience of Income collection and rent arrears procedures.
- Experience of working with tenants and other customers who are often vulnerable, in a changing and challenging environment.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations, demonstrating good negotiating skills and excellent customer service.
- Understanding of health & safety responsibilities including lone working.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working, which will be a combination of home working and working from our Hereford Office with travel to our Head Office at Craven Arms and other offices as required.
