Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service (SDAS) provides accommodation, community outreach and recovery groups to support to families and individuals across the County of Shropshire whose lives have been affected by domestic abuse.

Group facilitator role involves:

- Provide support to clients who have experienced domestic abuse by delivering educational, trauma informed programmes
- Empowering clients with knowledge
- Encouraging client to engage in learning and awareness about domestic abuse to assist their recovery
- Delivering support, education and guidance with the aim of enabling survivors to develop the skills and resources necessary to move on from abuse and maintain independence and self-reliance
- Deliver these group across the county of Shropshire at chosen venues or online via MS Teams
- The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is open to women only. (Exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1)_
