- As a Brand Lead Rare Disease at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans, for both prescription only and (OTC) over the counter medicines, driving the achievement of organizational objectives in our Rare Disease portfolio.- Additionally, you will analyse opportunities for business growth, oversee product life-cycle activities, and educate the organization on brand strategy and positioning.- Collaborate with HRT (hormone replacement therapy) Franchise Head to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with global and regional directives
- Deliver sales and marketing objectives by integrating consumer insights and internal feedback
- Monitor pre
- and post-launch performance, presenting successes, challenges, and mitigation plans to senior management
- Ensure execution and management of marketing plans with a focus on monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on activity results
- Provide input into global and regional marketing efforts, shaping positioning, key messages, and campaign development
- Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder needs are met and prioritize tactics for maximum return on investment.**Qualifications**
- To be successful in this role, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
- Hold a degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing, or possess equivalent qualifications
- Demonstrate a proven successful marketing background with strategic and tactical experience in senior pharmaceutical or OTC product management/marketing
- Strong understanding of NHS and ABPI code
- Experience in Rare Disease, Endocrine Disorders, Women’s Health, and Haematology would be considered a plus
- Showcase expertise in pre-launch planning, development, and execution, as well as in the management of line extensions and new indications
- Preferably have PAGB training, although it is not essential
- You should also be a passionate individual, capable of working in autonomy and as a good team player.**About the department**
- As a key member of the UK Rare Disease business unit, you will be part of leading the commercial strategies for our HRT business working closely alongside the Head of HRT Franchise. The Rare Disease business unit is now embarking on an incredibly exciting journey with many innovative assets to be launched in 1-3 years; this role will also be involved with projects, working with the cross functional teams for Rare Blood Disorders and Rare Endocrine Disorders teams. The business unit is preparing to expand and grow to a new level (including new therapy areas), and so this is an extremely exciting time to be joining the business unit if you’re looking to develop as an individual.
