A hands-on team leading role, responsible for the day-to-day management of production and employees in a specific section of the manufacturing at Coopers Fire.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Hands-on production of Coopers Fire and Smoke Curtains
- Lead and manage the team and resources to deliver on daily production schedules and requirements in an efficient, effective and safe manner
- Co-ordinate and allocate work load as per the production schedule
- Report back to the Production Manager on the status of jobs as per the schedule
- Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- Ensure stock levels are as required
- Monitor and maintain all tools and equipment
- Develop and implement methods for improvement on efficiency and accuracy of
- production
- Monitor and manage time and attendance of team members, and escalate any issues
- Monitor and managed conduct of team members and escalate any issues
- Support the recruitment of new team members
- Ensure staff levels are adequate
- Induction and training of new team members
- Monitor individual performance and provide training/coaching where necessary
- Ensure health and safety is at the forefront of what we do, and that all team members adhere to health and safety processes and expectations
- To cover for fellow team leaders in the event of absence
- Motivate and engage teams
- Listen to team members, evaluate suggestions and provide feedback
- Respect and value all members of staff to create a positive working environment
- Champion Coopers Fire culture and ethos

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Working in a material control / production planning environment
- Achieving daily production requirements
- Proven experience of leading and managing people
