People Capability Specialist

Human Resources lead the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking a number of experienced individuals for this exciting new role as People Capability Specialist.

As People Capability Specialist you will align to the Head of People Capability for one of our Global Businesses, DBS or Global Functions to understand the learning and talent development requirements, managing the strategy to the benefit of your client group.

In this role, you will:

- Work with global and regional teams to lead the analysis of HR data to understand and provide insight around current and anticipated people-capability challenges across your client group
- Seek to understand industry trends and regulatory changes impacting their GB/GF presenting new people-related challenges
- Support your HR ExCo member in the development of their people strategy
- Propose new or amended learning and talent solutions to address key people-related challenges in line with their business strategy
- Actively support the design / amendment of any group-wide solutions to ensure they meet the requirements of their business area
- Support the Head of People Capability to oversee the design and execution of business-specific programmes that fall outside of the CoE remit, liaising with external vendors as appropriate.
- Support Head of People Capability with all Talent Management related activities such as; Talent Reviews; Talent identification / assessment; succession planning; development and mobilisation of incumbents and successors for critical roles
- Lead project teams across multiple disciplines in a co-ordinated way through a clear project plan delivered on time and within budget

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Developed different learning and development modalities and assets including film, animation, e-learning and classroom
- Adapted learning and development for different business environments and /or locations and / or cultures
- Experience of project management and co-ordinating delivery through others
- Experience of working in a large matrix organisation, ideally international
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of managing stakeholder relationships including senior stakeholders
- Experience of managing the end-to-end learning solution lifecycle
- Deployment of large-scale complex projects

The base location for this role is flexible in the UK with regular travel to 8 Canada Square to connect in person.
