We are currently recruiting for a Materials Controller (Maternity Cover) on a part time basis (3 days a week/24 hours pw)

**Hours**: Tue/Wed/Thu 8.30am-4.30pm

**Salary**: £25,000 - £28,000 (Full time Equivalent)

**Responsibilities**:

- To place PO’s and align material due dates with suppliers.
- Provide support to the Demand Planner to ensure the material run outs are aligned to availability.
- Call the required materials to site, required for production. Ensuring that deliveries are within the site’s storage capacities and plan requirements.
- Analyse the MUV report and PSI materials file and adjust POs to ensure material alignment.
- Provide suppliers with the weekly production forecast.
- To align purchase orders to the plan and forecast.
- Immediately escalate any material misalignments when your options have been exhausted.
- Build effective working relationships with Suppliers.
- Attend daily 8:35 Planning Tier 1 meeting.
- Provide cover for the Demand Planner

**Skills**:

- Manufacturing experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work with large quantities of data.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail conscious and numerically accurate
- Process driven.
- Commercially Astute
- Excellent Organisational & Interpersonal Skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excel ability (Pivot tables, V-Lookups)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
