The Global Legal and CoSec team role is to deliver smart and commercial legal solutions to customers, being the Computershare business. The purpose of the team is to support Computershare to meet its strategic objectives by expertly managing legal risk and providing effective and efficient legal solutions.
**A role you will love**
The Company Secretary is a member of the regional Company Secretarial team based in Bristol. The Company Secretary reports to the Regional Company Secretary and assists the Company Secretaries to maintain accurate and proper company records, and supporting the entity Boards, Committees and Forums.
The team maintain statutory records for Computershare group companies incorporated in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands and their investments across the EMEA region, as well as providing support to the wider Group as required.
**Key Responsibilities**
To provide full Company Secretarial support to regulated and unregulated UK, Irish and Jersey Boards and their associated Committees, and to the UK and Irish second tier Committees (support to be divided between the CoSec team), including:
- Preparing agendas for meetings; co-ordinating the gathering of documents and the collation of meeting pack.
- Assisting the Regional Company Secretary in the development and maintenance of the Annual Plans for Boards and Committees.
- Ensuring each Board/Committee is meeting the obligations of its Charter and/or Terms of Reference;
- Maintaining accurate and timely statutory Computershare entity company records, and filing same (as required); and Working with the Regional Company Secretary on the drafting of new Company Secretarial Guidance, Policies and Processes that formally document end-to-end processes/procedures for all Company Secretarial work undertaken.

- Have solid experience of the annual board cycle;
- Experience of live minute taking;.
- Responsibility for statutory records and filings; and Ideally experience of working in a regulated/listed environment
