Engineering Coordinator

About The RoleMagdalene have an immediate requirement to recruit an Engineering Coordinator to be part of our SPEN Project Team in the UK, based in Runcorn.
In this hybrid position, Your role will be to Support the Regional Manager with the scheduling and coordination of Field Engineers, ensuring the Engineers have the required training, certification, authorisations, plant, equipment, materials, RAMS etc to perform their daily duties.
This role fits within Magdalene’s SPEN Project Team and will work collaboratively with the NOAM, Design and Project Delivery Departments.

Magdalene operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. Covering the full network lifecycle, we deliver Managed Services and Projects for both fixed and mobile infrastructure networks across the operator and utility markets.
**What will your key responsibilities be?**
- Office Reception Duties
- Coordinate with the Training Dept, ensuring our Engineer's training, certification and Client authorisations are maintained and kept up to date.
- Coordinate with the Logistics Dept, ensuring our Engineers have the plant, equipment and materials required to perform their various works.
- Ensure Engineers have their Job Packs, Client Briefings, RAMS, CRQ's etc prior to attending their scheduled sites.
- Collect and collate the Engineer's site handover documentation, photographs, and certification upon completion of each site and ensure site records are updated.
- Issue Safety Briefings, Project, and Client updates to Field Engineers on a regular basis.
- Collect Engineer Timesheets and ensure they are accurate and match the scheduling
- Liaise with the Engineering Manager with on the inductions, training, ordering of PPE and IT kit for future New Starters
**What competencies are we looking for?**
- Good communications skills with the ability to work closely with others.
- Strong administrative skills required with an extremely high level of IT competence
- Possess good attention to detail with the ability to work on your own initiative with mínimal supervision
- Experience of a similar role working within an Engineering/Telecoms Team is preferred but not essential
