We're currently working with a leading fresh produce business based near Sittingbourne.
Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The key role of the Sales Administrator is to ensure that all processes and documentation are maintained and accurate and that they are completed in a timely manner to allow for the efficient operation of the site.
Responsibilities will include:
- Transfer daily orders for next day/same-day delivery and upload to the ERP ensuring all orders have been checked and received correctly, also booking transport where needed
- Take ownership and ensure the accuracy of staff and resources and ensure that these are correct at the end of each week for products that have been assigned
- Allocate stock in rotation sufficient to produce customers next day/same day demand. Ensuring at all times that the third-party packers are using the stock allocated
- Ensure that all necessary information is ready for presentation at the daily operations meetings
- Provide information to the customer operations team to facilitate the most efficient distribution solution vs packing requirement
- To be responsible for taking charge of all account-based queries in the first instance
- Use ERP to prepare detailed daily job sheets to enable the third party packing operation to accurately produce the required final
product
- Flagging up any issues to the Production Support Manager, the Finance Manager and the Shift Operations Manager
- Set up lines on the ERP system according to the availability of products as confirmed by the Job Scheduler/Production Shift Manager
- Actively liaise with colleagues on a day-to-day basis on matters relating to stock, work orders, stock errors etc
- Undertake general ad-hoc administrative duties, as required
Experience in a fresh produce or food production environment
Experience in a labour intensive, high volume environment (ideally FMCG)
Experience of working in a sales administrative role
Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment
Experience using an ERP system
Hours for this role will be on a day shift, 4 on 4 off 6am - 6pm.
