**Your new role**:
The role of Buyer at Häfele will own the commercial and contractual procurement activity for all items within the assigned product area. You will be responsible for delivering targeted cost savings whilst maintaining and improving supplier and product quality to Häfele UK.

Working collaboratively with our Category and Inventory teams in the UK and Procurement teams across Häfele World Wide, you will be responsible for:

- sourcing activity
- tendering existing business
- negotiation of pricing/contractual terms/rebates with suppliers
- CSR & supplier risk management
- supplier relationship, contract & supply performance management
- on-boarding of new suppliers
- compliance with product legislation and Häfele Supplier Guidelines

- Experience of continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) Qualified (preferred, not required)
- SAP experience (preferred, not required)

This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to make a strong positive impact right from the start. It is full time, permanent, core hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. A job profile is available on request.
