We are looking for an experiencing practitioner with qualifications in at least one of the following areas:
Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)

Children Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)

Join our fast-growing, fast-paced Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in Mid Essex.

MHST’s are a new service designed to support children and young people with mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties within education settings. We are a multidisciplinary team made up of Children and Young People’s Mental Health Practitioners and Education Mental Health Practitioners.

Mid & South Essex supports up to 104,000 young people across a variety of different education settings.

EMHP's and CWP's within NELFT are required to have a professional registration either with the BABCP or BPS. COVID-19 Vaccination

We continue to encourage all staff to ensure that they have been double vaccinated and received their booster. We recognise that taking the vaccine provides the best defence against COVID 19 for our patients, our staff and their families.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post requires the successful applicant to work agilely between NELFT sites and educational settings. For applicant to have the ability to work independently is an important factor. Some travel around the county is also expected. The nominated base for Mid Essex is Stapleford House in Chelmsford.
