Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Fibre Supervisor to join our Gigaclear - Build team in the East Midlands.

The Fibre Supervisor should have at least three years’ experience working as a Fibre Supervisor or similar, with direct site experience, managing construction and cabling projects across an end-to-end lifecycle. You will be familiar with real-time reporting, submitting weekly reports, managing stock levels. You will be happy to work collaboratively.

More specifically;
- An understanding of the fibre network, this would include PIA, OH and UG construction methods - Essential
- Good knowledge of the fibre network
- Essential
- NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor accreditation - Desirable
- Understanding of traffic management requirements
- Desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft office products - Desirable
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Able to interpret fibre test results and SLD

**_What will you be doing?_**

As a Fibre Supervisor, your core responsibilities will be
- Regularly meet contractors to ensure they are meeting requirements
- Attend sites to check Health and Safety as well as NRSWA Streetworks are met.
- Ensure all sub-contractors have the correct qualifications, experience and are working to the correct standards.
- Ensure all documentation is present on site and ensure the design plans are reviewed on a regular basis.
- Managing all staff including sub-contractors to ensure work is completed at a high standard and to correct specifications.
- Ensure all site staff have the correct materials, PPE, permits and authorisations/qualifications.
- Support the build validation process
- Carry out quality assessment of PIA and all fibre installations meet PIA guidelines
- Complete A55’S
- Complete As-builts to enable closure of NOI’s
