**Role Description**
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Claims team in our Milton Keynes office as a Customer Claims Handler in our Commercial Property Team.
Claims are a vital part of our organisation. Our dedicated, friendly Claims team delivers on our promise by helping people to rebuild their lives. We have an annual claims spend of a billion pounds, so by joining Allianz you’ll be making an incredibly important impact from day one.

**Our working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm (37.5 hour per week)**
The role will be office based for the period of training and once fully trained you will be expected to work in the office 2 days a week the remaining 3 days working from home.
**The Details**:
The ability to organise and multi-task are essential skills required for this role. Other responsibilities will include:
Investigating, negotiating and settling your own portfolio of claims within agreed authority level in accordance with company and regulatory requirement
Proactively handling a caseload to achieve efficient and competitive settlements, ensuring claims are properly reserved and that unpursued claims are settled in accordance with settlement guidelines
Providing a high standard and quality of customer service with the ability to deliver high quality work to meet deadlines
Handling allocated internal tasks e.g. inactivity, diary, cheques and recoveries, ensuring that all are dealt with within applicable time limits
**About You**
You will have excellent communication skills
Be comfortable talking to our customers on the telephone every day.
Claims or Insurance experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Excellent attention to detail.
Have the ability to multi-task
Able to provide a high standard and quality customer service
Excellent Organisational skills
Able to work to deadlines
And be able to use MS Office
