The National Trust is renowned for its food and hospitality. We run 185 cafes, tea-rooms and restaurants all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we'd love you to join us.
We’re looking for three Food and Beverage Team Members to join us at Anglesey Abbey. In this role, you’d be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

**Hours**:15 hours per week. The role will include regular weekends as well as school and Bank Holidays, however, there are no evenings or split shifts. Shifts will be from 5 to 7.5 hours per day, worked between 9am and 6pm
**Salary**:£11.50 per hour.
**Duration**:Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
**Interview dates**:3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 11th July 2024.
What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you'll be based at Anglesey Abbey (Quy Road, Lode, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB25 9EJ), a Jacobean-style house with gardens and a working watermill. As well as the house and gardens, Anglesey Abbey has a woodland play area, shop and plant centre and the Redwoods restaurant.

What you'll be doing:As a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. You’ll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the café. With your love of working with people, your ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service, you’ll be making sure everyone has an enjoyable time. This is a lively business that’s constantly on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial.
You’ll be keen to understand what people want, to help them and to make recommendations. You’ll always keep the standards of food and drink preparation and presentation high. Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate and looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.
We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
