Bridgestone Group is excited to offer an opportunity for dedicated individuals to join our public grounds maintenance team. This role is vital for maintaining the beauty and usability of public parks, schools, playing fields, landscaped areas, and other open spaces. We are looking for Grounds Maintenance Workers to become part of our community on a temp to perm basis.

This position will cover a variety of outdoor areas across designated regions, ensuring high-quality maintenance and care.

**Working hours**

Monday - Friday

43 hours summer months

37 hours winter months

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Carry out general maintenance tasks including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and upkeep of sports areas as per established standards.
- Perform basic layout and marking for sports fields and maintain various types of pitches, utilizing craft skills such as plan interpretation, site preparation, and construction.
- Clean public structures such as changing rooms and toilets, as well as outdoor spaces including parks and playgrounds.
- Hold Full UK Driving License — Van Provided
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a similar field
- Knowledgeable in the use of maintenance equipment and tools
- Experience in handling pesticides and other maintenance chemicals safely
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
