**Key Responsibilities**:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and business objectives.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and visually appealing content for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube.
- Content Utilisation: Review and utilise existing content that can be repurposed for new campaigns across social platforms.
- Community Engagement: Foster and grow online communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant conversations.
- Campaign Development: Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on key social media metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Social Listening: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant discussions to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Social Media Calendar: Develop and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand presence across platforms.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Team, content creators, and other departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
- Social Media Trends: Stay current with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure the company's social media presence remains innovative and effective.
- Visual Content Production: Attend schools and other offsite locations to gather and produce visual assets to be used in campaigns including photography and and filming of products.
**Skills Required**:
- Social Media Platforms - Strong understanding of social media platforms, their audiences, and algorithms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.
- Analytics and Reporting - Proficient in social analytics platforms, with the ability to analyse the metrics to further enhance marketing activity
- Social Media Management Tools - Proficiency using social media scheduling tools to plan and automate posts
- Familiarity with tools for social media listening and monitoring to track brand mentions and industry trends
- Photography and Videography - experience of using a camera to capture high-quality photos and films, to be used across social media platforms and wider marketing campaigns
- Graphic Design - proficiency in creative tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, to create visually appealing assets.
- SEO Knowledge -An understanding of keyword research for optimizing social media content for search engines
- Paid Advertising and Ecommerce Integration - Experience creating and managing paid social campaigns and shoppable content
**Qualifications and Soft Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related qualification.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
**The Package**
