**Screen South, a cultural development organisation with digital creativity at its heart, is recruiting for a Freelance Accentuate Administration Assistant.**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to provide project and administration support for the Accentuate Programme - one of Screen South’s major projects. Accentuate provides D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people opportunities to participate and lead within the cultural sector. Major Accentuate projects include Curating for Change and Curating Visibility, working in partnership with museums across England to challenge the underrepresentation of disabled people in museums, both in their collections and workforce.

**Essential requirements**:

- Experience of successful project support from planning to delivery stage
- Experience of providing administrative support, including processing, invoicing, diary management and report writing
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and schedule workloads.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word and excel.

**Job Purpose**:To provide administrative and project support for the Accentuate Programme - one of Screen South’s major projects. Accentuate provides D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people opportunities to participate and lead within the cultural sector. Major Accentuate projects include Curating for Change and Curating Visibility, working in partnership with museums across England to challenge the underrepresentation of disabled people in museums, both in their collections and workforce.

**Key duties**:
**Administrative Support**
- To provide administrative support to the Head of the Accentuate programme and the Curating for Change (CfC) Project Manager.
- Assist Screen South senior staff with the administration of records, data compilation and production of reports for the Accentuate programme.
- Assist the Head of Accentuate and the CfC Project Manager with monthly drawdown requests to NLHF and the processing of payments.
- Assist the Head of Business Development & Project Support in implementing procurement processes, ensuring that purchase orders and invoices are processed and fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Assist the Head of Accentuate with project set up for Curating Visibility, including liaising with partner museums to complete contracts and agreements.
- Support the Head of Accentuate to provide any required data for Arts Council England in relation to Curating Visibility.
- Support the CfC digital Editor to populate the collections database on the CfC website, including gathering data from Fellows and uploading this to the collections database spreadsheet.
- Assist Accentuate staff with the maintenance of administrative systems for the project and ensure appropriate records are kept.
- Assist the Head of Accentuate with circulating agendas, taking meeting minutes, sharing actions.
- Provide an efficient reception service to all visitors and callers to Screen South. Ensure all guests and callers are welcomed, logged and provided with appropriate information, literature and/or directed to the relevant member of staff in a warm and professional manner.

**Project Support**
- Provide administrative support for the planning and delivery of Accentuate events and activities, including booking venues, accommodation, and travel, securing speakers, creating programmes of activities, managing guest lists, preparing resources, equipment and venues.
- Support the preparation and delivery of activities, ensuring any access needs of participants are met and that any health and safety requirements are adhered to.
- Support the Managing Director and Head of Accentuate in collating any information required for project reporting and bid writing purposes.
- Support the Head of Accentuate with the gathering of data to monitor progress against key milestones and achievement of outputs and outcomes.

**Other duties common to all posts**
- To assist all management staff in operational activities as required.
- Actively promote Screen South’s interests and relations with all other bodies, agencies and clients.
- Undertake any staff development deemed necessary for the effective performance of duties assigned to the post.
- To comply with all statutory provisions and Screen South regulations, such as those that relate to Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities.
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time commensurate with the level of the position.

**Terms and conditions**:

- **Salary**:_ _£16 per hour_

**Hours**: This is a part time freelance contract, which is 7 hours per week equivalent. Some evening and weekend work will be required, which will be recompensed with time off in lieu. We are open to flexible working.

**Contract**: This is a freelance contract until 29th September 2023.

**Location**: The post-holder will mainly be based at Screen South's office in Folkestone but may be required to travel
