We are looking to appoint an individual to join our Quality Governance Team.

Working in support of the Divisional Senior Leadership Team you will be required to champion governance and assurance within the division with the aim of developing, embedding and promoting robust governance processes and a safety culture within the Division. You must be able to work with Senior Managers, Clinicians and Clinical Teams and demonstrate proven experience in a senior governance role.

You must have a comprehensive understanding of good governance, risk management and human factors in the wider context of the ever changing NHS.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.

**Your role will include**:

- Promoting and implementing the Trust Risk Management processes
- Supporting the Division in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of good governance
- Working with the central governance team to identify and investigate serious incidents and embed learning
- Identifying key themes, trends and areas for development arising from incidents, claims and complaints within the Division.
- Providing line management to the Divisional Governance and Assurance Officers.
