People Advisor - Join Our Thriving Team
Are you a passionate, commercial, fast paced people professional seeking a flexible and impactful role?
We are searching for a People Advisor to join our friendly team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our employees and creating a positive and productive work environment.
**What You Will Do**:
Drive the delivery of a commercially focussed People service to our retail operations.
Proactively contribute to both the commercial success of Robert Dyas and driving the people culture
Develop and extend effective working relationships with District Managers and Store Managers
Assist with the onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
Champion the Robert Dyas employee brand to enable the successful retention of colleagues. Proactively support increased colleague recognition and engagement, with a view to creating a company people really want to work for.
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Assist with employee relations issues, ensuring store managers have the appropriate skills and advice required to deliver a consistently fair and productive working environment
Collaborate with other departments to achieve and drive shared goals.
**Who You Are**:
Strong understanding of People principles and practices - Desire to drive the best people culture throughout the business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
Commercially focused
Experience with Employee Relations
Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a similar role is a plus.
