**International Sales Manager - £55-60k + commission (OTE £20k)

**The Role**

You should have a proven track record of success in sales, an outstanding work ethic, and a passion for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and system integrators. You must have an eye for detail and the ability to think strategicallyto generate and bring to the company new business accounts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of an International Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that when placing business, all correct Company policies and procedures are followed in order to ensure that the Company’s position is protected.
- Ensure the maintenance of the company CRM across all prospective/existing customers in your territory.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge, understanding & communication of the company’s products; features, modules, limitations, design requests.
- Co-ordinate with others in the department, providing cover when and where required and any other reasonable task, within your capabilities, to support the department and/or business.
- Achieve your annual Sales target through:
- The planning and implementation of a working pattern and contact schedule for your territory.
- The identification of all additional business opportunities through existing customer accounts.
- The identification and generation of new business accounts and revenue.
- Regular travel and in-market presence at tradeshows, demos, events and as necessary.

**The Person**
The key skills and qualities of an International Sales Manager are:
- Previous experience of selling to Senior Managers/Directors of major accounts.
- Previous experience of dealing with and controlling system integrators and distributors.
- Previous experience selling high value, low volume, project-based products.
- Experience of selling through tender/bid processes
- Channel Management experience.
- Well-honed presentation and product demonstration skills
- Knowledge of broadcast workflow and/or broadcast IP
- Time management skills and the ability to achieve deadlines.
- Excellent spoken and written skills.
- Accurate reporting skills.
- Excellent customer skills.
- Ability to identify, prioritise and solve problems.
- Excellent customer interface and the ability to build long term relationships with customers.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing priorities.
- Pro-active team member & support other teams/team members.
- Valid driving License.
- Ability to travel and be away from the office and home for long periods as and when required. This is targeted at 10 days per month visiting customers/distributors.
