We are excited to offer a full-time position for an Assistant Psychologist posts within our expanding Perinatal Mental Health Services (PMHS). We are looking for motivated, compassionate and committed individuals who would like to be part of Coombe Wood mother & baby unit team. The unit is 24/7 and this position will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

CNWL provides community perinatal services across 5 London boroughs as well as having a 10 bedded mother and baby unit based at Coombe Wood. We are pleased to recruit an enthusiastic band Assistant Psychologist, with a keen interest in working with women and children to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service.

The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.

The post holder will work at Coombe Wood MBU which is 10-bedded inpatient unit and a multi-disciplinary perinatal mental health service. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the service in terms of co-facilitating groups, research and audit activities under the supervision / direction of the deputy psychologist.

CNWL Perinatal Mental Health Service (PMHS) comprises specialist multidisciplinary perinatal mental health teams five boroughs served by the trust (Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster) enabling the delivery of evidence based perinatal mental health care through a coordinated multidisciplinary specialist approach across maternity, primary and secondary care, tertiary specialist services, social care and voluntary sector.

You will join a team that delivers specialist community perinatal mental health service (PMHS), which integrate maternity services, community and primary care services. We respond rapidly to presentations within the maternity context and address the risks to both mothers and infants of perinatal illness We focus on prevention, early detection with NICE guidelines and based in the community, close to mothers and babies.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are excited to offer a full-time position for an Assistant Psychologist posts within our expanding Perinatal Mental Health Services (PMHS). We are looking for motivated, compassionate and committed individuals who would like to be part of Coombe Wood mother & baby unit team. The unit is 24/7 and this position will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To assist in service evaluations, audits and research for the purpose of service development;
a. To develop, maintain and analyse databases for the purposes of service evaluation, audit and research
1. To have key statistical analysis skills for analysing data in a meaningful way.
2. To produce helpful reports and presentations to communicate and disseminate the outcomes of findings of this work.
3. To work on developing clinical materials for the service as well as service documentation including referral forms and other service documentation with the support of senior colleagues
1. To attend meetings in which service developments are planned and discussed, as required.
Supervision, training and teaching
1. To receive regular clinical and management supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines.
1. To work in conjunction with colleagues to develop and deliver training in matters relating to the work of perinatal mental health services.
2. To support colleagues in developing resources and preparing materials for the delivery of teaching and training.

**Clinical**:
1. To attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings.
2. To design and compile material pertaining to the clinical interventions that PMHS offer.
3. To support the co-production activity with service users, partners and family members that is essential to the design and implementation of the service
4. To support the clinical team with triage of referrals and initial screening and assisting with writing up notes and letters
5. Joining qualified clinicians to undertake specific pieces of clinical work (joint clinical work).
6. To support with the development and delivery of group interventions.
