Victoria Square Hotel is a 41-bedroom independent hotel and our vision of hospitality with home-away-from-home feel drives us to provide an exceptional customer experience for each and every guest we welcome, whether to join us for a drink or to stay with us and enjoy the most sought-after area of Bristol, Clifton Village.

This is a 40 hours a week role. The shift patern would be a mix of 8am-4pm and 3pm-11pm.

**The Essential Skills**:

- Possess very good experience in a Receptionist role, ideally within a hotel environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional levels of customer service and will be customer-focused at all times
- Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and targets
- Be proactive and work under your own initiative
- Possess a good commercial awareness and have a passion for the hospitality industry
- Possess a positive can-do attitude and flexibility
- An excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate effectively
- Possess excellent IT skills & a knowledge of Hotel Executive would be useful but not essential

**Personal Traits**:
Must have excellent personal presentation and appearance; possess very good written and verbal communication as well as inter-personal skills; excellent organisational and time management skills; be highly motivated with a drive to set high standards and strive for continuous improvement; be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines; have excellent attention to detail, cleanliness and accuracy; be a 'team-player' and good cash handling and credit/debit card skills
