**Job Title**: Business Development Executive

**Location**:Gateshead

**Salary**: £32,000 per year - OTE including bonus (paid monthly)

**Job type**:Full Time - Permanent. 40 hours per week. Core hours to be covered being 08:30hrs - 16:30hrs, Monday to Friday.

OSE European Ltd are a busy transport & logistics company based in Gateshead, established in 2001, specialising in time critical transport to the UK and Europe.

OSE European Ltd are looking to expand, and are looking to recruit highly driven and committed Sales people to become integral members of the company.

**Role Description**:

- Create new business opportunities through compelling telephone conversations with new and existing customer base
- Seek and agree appointment bookings to discuss our services and opportunities within the client's business
- Develop valued relationships through daily telephone contact with newly acquired and existing clients
- Build and manage a territory of client accounts, driving business value and revenue opportunities
- Successfully work to and deliver against agreed sales targets
- Utilise the company sales tools and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to plan, conduct calls and accurately record all opportunities in line with sales objectives
- Effectively use the CRM to access customer history, create pricing and inform discussions with the clients
- The role is office based, currently in Gateshead, with a requirement to travel to customer meetings as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly driven, results orientated with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Desire to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with people at all levels of an organisation
- Confidence to work on own initiative to create sales pipeline opportunities
- Be fully conversant with MS Office tools

**Desirable Experience**:

- Previous experience in a telephone or field sales role
- Experience in logistics / transport related industry
- Experience using Sales and CRM systems
- Full clean driving licence
- Additional European languages

**Extra Info**:
You will be entitled to 22 days paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
