**Job Title: Assistant Payroll Administrator**
**Salary: £25,000 plus excellent benefits including free parking and 25 days holiday**
**Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9 - 5.30pm**
**Contract: Permanent**
**Location: Oldbury**
Morgan Parkes is delighted to be recruiting for a full time permanent Assistant Payroll Administrator based in Oldbury.
Your role will report into the payroll manager and is a great opportunity to start your payroll career and learn from a supportive and experienced team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collating relevant payroll information
- Assist with monthly payroll duties
- Knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments
- Calculate joiners and leavers
- Collate and calculate monthly overtime
- Assist with all month end and year end payroll duties such as p60s and p11ds
- Assist the finance team with any issues
- General administration duties
**Key Skills/Experience Required**:
- Previous experience working within an Accounts environment
- Proficient in all Microsoft office packages with intermediate/advanced level Excel
- Positive and enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills with an analytical flair
- Good IT skills, basic level of excel is essential
- High attention to detail is essential
Please note these roles are office based Monday to Friday with hours of 9am - 5.30pm, salary is £25,000 and previous expereince is desirable.
